Nailed it

My hands are not only my trade but things I love to decorate.
All my rings are vintage and given to me by important people in my life and I wear 7 silver bracelets all given to me by my mum.
For some reason painting my nails really relaxs me, my favourite nail varnish is called 'Happy Birthday' by Deborah Lippmann, it costs a fortune but its sparkles are adictive!

Scandinavian Warmth

This outfit keeps me warm on a winter day out. I bought this jacket a couple of years ago from a vintage shop called Armstrong's in Edinburgh, I think it was around £15, they are now hugely popular in lots of up market vintage stores and are selling for around £50, so I always chuckle when I see them!

Rocking Christmas

Now we are in January, I think this is probably the last time I can wear my amazing christmas jumper! I won this jumper last christmas in a competition from my absolute favourite vintage seller 'Rock Paper Vintage'. They sell the most amazing and individual vintage pieces straight out of New York. Check them out at

Hair Raising

One of the most important parts of my style is my hair, (although unfortunatly it isn't even half as long as I like to draw it :S) I'm extremely influenced by the 1940s and 50s hair styles. I take styles like victory rolls and give them a modern twist to create unique hairstyles. If you want to learn how to do this too, search 'victory rolls' on youtube to find loads of amazing tutorials!

I'm Emma, a freelance illustrator and vintage fashion collector.
This blog is a platform for me to mix my love of drawing and styling together and show the world my passion for all things visual!
It's also a great way to force myself to draw everyday and put on some nice clothes!!
I will be posting regularly, showing you illustrations of my outfits and life and would love to hear any feedback from you :)
